Eastman Launches Information Program for Regulatory issues
Eastman Chemical Company has implemented a program to help formulators and applicators understand and develop strategies for today’s evolving VOC and HAPS regulations. The program includes a white paper, web site and presentations by Eastman coatings experts.
“Coatings performance and environmental protections are not mutually exclusive,” said Ranae Anderson, senior technical service representative at Eastman. “The tools, knowledge and strategies that we are providing will help coatings professionals formulate environmentally sound coatings without sacrificing performance quality,” she said.
Eastman’s new white paper, “Solvent Technology for Present and Future Air Quality Regulations,” highlights key developments in governmental regulations affecting the industry and offers tips and examples for formulating. The paper is available to download as a PDF on the company’s web site. Eastman’s web site, www.performancesolvents.eastman.com, contains information on solvent properties, problem-solving strategies to meet environmental goals and formulation tools. The site is regularly updated with the latest regulatory and industry information.
